I am still reading ‘The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe’ by C S Lewis, I think it is great story and can’t wait to read on. In my book I have found out Edmund was following Lucy through the wardrobe, I predicted at this point in reading that the faun (Mr Tumnus) has closed the exit because he doesn’t want them to get hurt.  I found out later in my reading that Edmund is chasing Lucy further and further and that my prediction was wrong as he carries on chasing her until they get to Narnia.  At this point in the story Lucy has ran off and Edmund is calling out for her saying that he is sorry for not believing her about Narnia.  I think that Lucy has ran to see wether Mr Tumnus is okay, I would have done this because earlier in the book he said that if the white Queen found out he let her go that she would chop off his tail.

Edmund carries on exploring and then finds the white queen yet he doesn’t know at first that she is a queen so just says ‘hello’ to her then she tells him she is the queen and then he has to be kinder to her and call her ‘your majesty’.  She is a bit mean to him at first as she doesn’t know that he  ia a human and now he tells her as he thinks she is an overgrown elf, after he has rold her that he is a human she is kinder to him and invites him into his sleigh, this is because she is trying to capture humans.  She gives him some turkish delight and then he is invited to the castle but she says he can only come if he brngs his brothers and sisters.  I think this is because she wants to capture more children.  I am wondering wether his brother and sisters will think he is mad or wether they will go with him.  I think Lucy will tell him that she is evil yet he will persuade her to go to.

And that is were I am up to in my reading!

    Dear Anna,
This seems really good. Have you seen the film? I have it is really good. I like how you have used some really good skills like ‘I think…’ I also like how you have used quotes from the book to back up what you have written ”hello” well done Anna! This is amazing.

    Hello Anna,

Great detail on the book you are reading, is it exciting when you are reading it? I know how it feels when you’re reading along to a book, it curses you to read on, but then it’s time to stop reading! It’s so annoying! I hope you enjoy your book!

    Dear Anna,
Wow,I am thrilled with this reading stem. I am super impressed that you remembered to link back to your first reading stem, so that readers can get a really good idea of the book and your thinking about it. Well done Anna.
Remember to include your other thinking skills as you are reading. Perhaps you could list them to remind yourself, or explain to others what you are doing and how it helps you.

    Hello Anna,

By chance I saw a link to your reading stem 2 for “The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe”. Being a fan of the Narnia series, in particular this first book introducing us to Narnia, I thought I would drop in to read your post.

I see you made prediction as to what will happen while reading the book. I like to do the same when reading a book or seeing a movie. I always consider how I might have written a story. It can be fun to predict then reading on to see what happens.

From your stem, I can tell where you are in the book. You have some incredible experiences ahead in the book. Do you intend reading more in the series? There are seven to read.

Now to click the link and read your reading stem 1. I want to see your initial reactions when starting the book. :)

    Hello Anna,

Great detail on your book review! I see it’s homework too! You’re reading along to a book, and it curses you to like carry on. It’s so annoying when it’s time to stop, I know! Nothing you could improve on, it’s too good! Have you seen the film yet?

    Keep on reading.
