Happy learners blog well
Rapidly, the unicorn glides through the gloomy forest, leaving trails of sparkles behind it as it passes a white, icy lake. Stomping on the ground it gallops energetically towards the tiny village, which seems so insignificent in comparison to the majestic beauty of the unicorn. It’s horn glows brightly like a angelic, golden lance against the pitch black darkness. Trees turn their roots just to look at the beast, flowers grow to the sky to get a glimpse of it. When the unicorn comes, nothing seems the same. The abandoned castle by contrast seems like a magnet to thunder, dragging billowing dark clouds towards it. The blue tips of the castle now seem like a blackened, ripped tent. The unicorn, unphased, and unconcerned sped towards the ruined citadel neighing raucously, it’s mind whirring. as it considers its next destination. Only the unspeaking walls of the stronghold and the mute trees can say where the unicorn dwells now.

Harrison, once again your writing has left me with goosebumps (it is THAT GOOD). I am so impressed with how much you have improved and how you are taking on board all the advice that is given to you. I am certain that this will knock Mr Corbett and Mr Mitchell’s socks off. I think my favourite phrase is ‘..trees turn their roots just to look at the beast..’ or it may be ‘The abandoned castle by contrast seems like a magnet to thunder, dragging billowing dark clouds towards it.’
No, I am sorry Harrison, I just love all of it. I wonder if you want to be an author one day. I know I would buy one of your books.
I am a very proud teacher!
