The Water Cycle Snowman

Filed Under (General News) by on 25-01-2013 and tagged ,

Thank goodness for that ,

I’m losing my hat ,

The gloves and the scarf have gone ,

They all fell away on the very first day when the sun came out and shone .

I’m free to return  ,

To my original world ,

Of rain , cloud and seas ,

I’m happiest when I’m liquid , not when I freeze .

I like it best ,

When the wind is in the west ,

I look forward to falling as rain ,

Forming a river again .

The Ocean is me ,

And in it I’m free ,

To begin the whole cycle again ,

Again , again again !

What a great poem. The alliteration in it was great! I was quite impressed! we have also been doing poems and ours were about lightning and monsoons etc and they also had alliteration in them.

I really like the idea of the water cycle snowman.Did the poem have to be a wintery,or could you do it about anything,if it had to be wintery I could never think of something that good.I think it is superb and a brillent idea sorry if I said that to much but I really like it.

I thought this was an amazing poem. There were two ways to write that poem, like you did and like the snowman was sad he was melting. It was very good how you wrote the poem from the snowmans point of view. PS. I really like your blog.
