Happy learners blog well
I am reading Lola Rose by Jaquline Wilson. I have read to the point we’re Jani(the main Character),her Brother and her Mum are leaving tomorrow go to London. Would far her Mother has won the lottery. I predict that Mum doesn’t want Dad to know that she has won because he might spend all the money on something silly. ‘”Don’t tell Dad about the lottery money,”‘ I like the way the author (Jaquline Wilson) has put a rhetorical question at the beginning of the book ‘Have you ever wondered what you would do if you won the lottery?’ because it really made me think about what I would do if I won the lottery. So far this book has really made me feel melancholy
Sad: Because Jayni got told by her Mum she gets hurt by her Dad.
Happy:Because the description in the book is great. When you pick up the book and read you always think in your head “How can she be so grown up?” And when you read this you can always imagine Jayni going through all of the dilemmas. This book is great!

Hi Caitlin
Thank you for telling us to read Lola Rose, I think I might read it it sounds really good book to read.
It sounds like Lola is a bit of a naughty character and she gets into a lot of mischef.

Wow Caitlin, I really enjoyed reading your reading stem! I think that I would really like to be Jayni. What would you do if you ever won the lottery? I think that I would buy a MANSION!

Dear Caitlin,
Lola Rose is such a good book, infact one of the greatest I have ever read. I really enjoyed your reading your reading stem. I like how you have described your feeling about the book. What is your favourite part so far. I would tell you what happens, but I don’t want to spoil it for you. Once I picked up the book, it was impossible to put it down. Who is your favourite story author? Mine is Jacquline Wilson! Well done and keep up the good work.

Thank you for really nice comments on my work. Julia and Tulsi, my favourite part is the beginning but then you hear this horrible person come into the book and my favourite author is Jaquline Wilson because her books are amazing. Tulsi, if I won the lottery I would give some to the charity because there are children in other countries suffering for food, I would a,so get my family presents and go on holiday. Thanks for your nice comments.
