Poem for Brian Moses ‘Fun in the snow’

Filed Under (Home Page) by on 20-01-2013 and tagged ,

Fun in the snow!

Splatter, splatter, splatter,
The snow falls down,
Crunching, crunching, crunching,
All around,
Woosh, woosh, woosh,
The wind blows hard,
Ha, ha, ha,
The children laugh,
Beep, beep, beep,
The cars are slipping,
Aarrgghh, aarrgghh, aarrgghh,
People slipping on the ice.
Splat, crunch, woosh,
Ha, beep, aarrgghh,
FUN, The world calls out!

Wow Anna, I can tell you are very excited that Mr Moses is coming to visit us. I can guess why you wrote about snow and I am sure that you have had a wonderful time playing in it. I think this is a fabulous poem and I am sure that Mr Moses will be impressed. Well done!

This is a very good poem Anna, could you tell what your favourite part of the snow is and why?
Have you been playing out in the snow, I have.
On Saturday I went sledging, and when I read this poem it reminded me of that day. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK ANNA, YOU ARE AN AMAZING POET!
