Film Review – Skyfall

Today I have been to see my first James Bond film at the Cinema with my Dad and Grandpa.  It was brilliant because it was action packed and kept me on the edge of my seat.

At the beginning there was an amazing chase scene where 007 went after the bad guy on a motorbike and then on the top of a train.  Bond was shot and fell a long way into the sea, amazingly he survived.

The baddie called ‘Silver’ came back to London to get M, MI6 was blown up by a computer generated explosion, the bright, red fire was everywhere.

Bond chased after Silver on the Tube, the baddie dressed as a policeman to try and escape.  Eventually, Bond and M went to Scotland to where Bond grew up in a big old house.  A bit later there was an army truck which pulled up in front of the house and the criminals got out with guns, running towards the house to try and kill Bond and M.  Bond’s Aston Martin DB5 was wrecked badly by machine gun fire.  The magnificent silver car was no more.

Silver arrived in a helicopter and fired machine guns at the house, Bond had to blow the house up to escape down a secret passage.  Bond fell into a freezing river but managed to get out and save M from the baddie by throwing a knife into his back.

Unfortunately M died at the end and a new M replaced her.

I would recommend this film and give it a 8.5 out of 10.

Daniel, I am so pleased that you have gone on the blog and written such a wonderful piece of writing. Thank you so much and you should be very proud of youurself…..I know I am. Just like when you are reading, remember to use those skills like schema and predicting. Let me know what you think of the film rather than just telling me what it was about (especially when I have not see it and now I know what to expect).
Keep up this fabulous blogging Daniel, I cannot wait to see what you write next.
